Services Delivery Engineer 1

Location: Rio de Janeiro

The Service Delivery Engineer plans, directs, and executes the organizational/technical activities required for delivery of the services to ensure technical solution meets contracts specifications. As a Service Delivery Engineer, you build in-depth knowledge of clients' priorities, challenges and initiatives and become a trusted advisor for the customer you are allocated to. You will also maintain awareness of all service matters and manage customer during high priority escalations and interfaces with DellEMC teams.

Responsibilities Include:

  • - Installation and servicing DellEMC hardware & software
  • - Performance of pro-active maintenance according to established procedures, adherence to proper escalation procedures and keys to success
  • - Perform part replacements as directed by the technical support lab
  • - Hands-on work with DellEMC products and platforms, operating systems and storage infrastructure tools
  • - Assure complete customer satisfaction at the assigned accounts by adherence to the following: Punctual onsite arrival time, technical expertise, knowledge of customer environment, and professionalism

Critical Requirements:

  • - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in datacenter environments
  • - Knowledge about Intel based servers
  • - Knowledge about Windows Server operating system
  • - Knowledge about Linux operating systems
  • - Exposure to ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem and Change Management processes)
  • - Availability to work afterhours and weekends as required by the customer
