Senior Product Design Manager

Join us as a Senior Product Design Manager on our Information Technology team in Brazil to do the best work of your career and contribute to the Dell Digital Design transformation.

What you’ll achieve
As a Design leader you will teach, recruit, and build a human-centered design culture. The primary role of the Product Designer is to be an advocate for users, understand user needs and goals, by conducting user research and to create designs that meet user needs. A significant part of the role is communication. Product designers consistently communicate user pain points and design iterations to the Product Managers, Developers and Business stakeholders. Throughout the development process, the product designer constantly tests the design and working software and iterates on the design.


You will:

As a Senior Manager of Product Design, you will lead a group of talented Designers focused on delivery of exceptional product experiences. You will also oversee plans and direct schedules as well as product roadmaps along with Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure the Product is delivered to Dell’s exceptional experience standards. In addition, you will monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or inter-department team members.

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced level of English

  • Experience with human-centered design methodologies and experience with successfully shipped products, including responsive web design, mobile, and/or web applications.

  • Experience and knowledge of user research, synthesizing findings, and presenting findings to the broader team.

  • Familiarity of design tools such as Figma and Adobe’s Creative Cloud.

  • Good financial acumen in dealing with sizing, budgeting, planning and management of the same.  

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with tried-and-true remote collaboration processes and tools a plus, as well as experience with Agile and Lean process

  • An online portfolio
